The picture of the church I see for us to carry in our hearts is what she is becoming under the leadership and husbandship of Yeshua Hammaschiach. The Recovery Version of Eph. 2:10 records the appointed Master Builder Paul’s words: “For we are His masterpiece, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand in order that we should walk in them.” Witness Lee offers a footnote to the term “masterpiece.” 10-1: “The Greek word, poiema, means something that has been made, a handiwork, or something that has been written or composed as a poem. Not only a poetic writing may be considered a poem, but also any work of art that expresses the maker’s wisdom and design. We, the church, the masterpiece of God’s work, are a poem expressing God’s infinite wisdom and divine design. The heavens, the earth, and man, created by God, are not God’s masterpiece; but the church, the Body of Christ, the fullness of the One who fills all in all (Eph. 1:23), the corporate and universal new man (Eph. 2:15), is a masterpiece. We have been saved by grace to be God’s masterpiece that we may walk in the good works prepared beforehand by God.”
10:2 “We, the church, the masterpiece of God’s work, are an absolutely new item in the universe, a new invention of God. We were created by God in Christ through regeneration to be His new creation (2 Cor. 5:17).”
10:3 “The good works for which God created us are not the good things that are according to our general concept but the definite good doings that God preplanned and preordained for us to walk in. These good things must be the doing of His will that we may live the church life and bear the testimony of Jesus, as revealed in the succeeding chapters of this book.” (Ephesians)
Where we are headed in order to actually function as a true masterpiece of YHVH is set forth in Eph. 4:16: “For because of Him the whole body (the church, in all its various parts), closely joined and firmly knit together by the joints and ligaments with which it is supplied, when each part [with power adapted to its need] is working properly [in all its functions], grows to full maturity, building itself up in love.” (AMPC)
Necessary to be fully built up are communications from the heart and mind of our Perfect Leader and Lord that are aligned with the Word. Eph. 1:22 in The Passion says Yeshua is “the source of everything needed in the church.” He builds up His Body through prophetic words released via saints like me who abide in Jesus the Vine, staying humble and receptive to Him as His bondservant or loveslave 24/7. (See James 1:1 TPT) I have majored in the spirit- to-Spirit union with the Lord since my new birth in 1995. (Note 1 Cor. 6:17) Union and close communion with Him comprise my calling as He created me to understand our bonding with God. With this bonding in first place, or centering in the marriage within; the Lord called me to study the makeup of the new creation person; spirit, soul, and body; which I have given myself to for three plus decades as I, myself, am a Jesus Christ reconstruction job with great functionality in my person now. This study of how each part of the Body and then the Body as a whole is to be by design is ongoing under the leadership of the Holy Spirit. Thus, I minister inner healing and deliverance en route to seeing us all whole. I call the Body to “bondslave freedom” as per Romans 6:22. We are to function as the loved ones and the lovers in the earth. Indeed, God is love and we are to be love-beings after His image. Words from Him do bring us forth as His Beloved.
Rev. 19:10 teaches us: “For the substance (essence) of the truth revealed by Jesus is the spirit of all prophecy [the vital breath, the inspiration of all inspired preaching and interpretation of the divine will and purpose, including both mine and yours].” And I am receptive to great input from the seven spirits of the Lord. (See Revelation 4:5; Isaiah 11:2.) I am after the Spirit of the Lord, Wisdom, Understanding, Counsel, Might, Knowledge, and the Fear of the Lord. The Proverbs daily instruct me, too.
Currently, I am auditing courses through Dr. Mark Virkler’s Christian Leadership University. Soon, I will complete the Communion with God graduate course in hearing the voice of God through CLU. And my local Boomerang University in Albemarle, NC has me enrolled as a degree student. I already hold a Doctor of Ministry degree through Christian Life School of Theology Global, Dr. Ron Cottle’s School. Evangelical studies have shaped me with seven years of Bible Study Fellowship and various Precepts Ministries courses. I went to the in-depth Saturday Morning Seminary classes at Raleigh Institute of Biblical Studies for many years in the 1990’s until around 2010 when I moved from this capital city. Dr. William Suttles founded RIBS. The Body as a whole; through many, many, many anointed books and teachings; has imparted much to me re: the walk with the Lord in intimacy.
My aim is to become a professional listener for myself and others to the One in Whom are all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. (Study Col. 2:3.)
The purpose of accessing the mind and heart of the Lord via the keen hearing of a bondslave-type such as I am is for you to be furthered by words that ‘edify [promote your spiritual growth], encourage [uphold and advise you concerning the matters of God], and [speak words of] consolation [to compassionately comfort you]’ as is the thought of 1 Corinthians 14:3 (AMP). And to get us all, the Body of Christ, to the place of “each part [with power adapted to its need] working properly [in all its functions], grown to full maturity, building itself up in love.” (See Eph. 4:16 AMPC).
